What Is a Digital Product Passport?
A Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a digital record linked to a physical product that contains verifiable information about the product's origin, composition, quality, and supply chain history. For peptide products, a DPP provides a tamper-evident, QR-code-accessible record of the batch's COA data, purity results, and manufacturing provenance.
The DPP concept is gaining traction in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries as a tool for combating counterfeiting, improving supply chain transparency, and providing end-users with verifiable quality information.
Planned DPP Features
QR code on product label
Each product label will carry a unique QR code linked to the batch-specific DPP record.
Batch COA data
RP-HPLC purity percentage, LC-MS identity confirmation, and test date accessible via the DPP.
Manufacturer verification
Confirms the product was manufactured by ShiLai™ Healthcare and has not been tampered with.
Supply chain provenance
Records the manufacturing date, batch number, and authorised distribution channel.
Current Status
